Media releases Byrnes Tied 10th at Mollymook Women's Classic Monday, 1 December 2003 Horizons Golf Resort’s Touring Professional, Cherie Byrnes shot rounds of 75 and 76 to finish in tied 10th position in the par 72, $25,000 Mollymook Women’s Classic held at the Mollymook Hilltop Golf Course on 29-30 November 2003. Byrnes said “I hit the ball well but the greens were tough and weren’t holding. I tee off with PGA Professional Ken Druve and 2 amateurs tomorrow at 12.51pm in the St Georges Basin Country Club Pro-Am”. New Zealander, Lynette Brooky won the Classic with rounds of 69 and 75, Kylie Pratt (QLD) continued her form to be placed in second position with 72 and 73 and Katherine Hill (QLD) third with rounds of 76 and 70. Byrnes will next compete in the $20,000 St Georges Basin Pro-am to be held at the St Georges Golf Club on 2-3 December 2003.
