Food Restrictions
Members and Patrons please note that effective from the race meeting on Saturday 13 December 2008, the only food able to be brought onto the premises is for dietary/health requirements or otherwise by special permission.

Minors & Guardians Club Policy
With the exception of Boxing Day, children are permitted on course when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

A simple definition of Parent or Guardian is :
"a person over the age of 18 who is a parent or legal guardian, and must be old enough to be a parent"
ie - a 20yr old can not be the guardian of their 17yr old girlfriend or 17yr old little brother.

Boxing Day is an over-18's event. Minors are not permitted on course in the public areas (no exceptions).
Children of owners, trainers etc will still be permitted with their parent or legal guardian, and will be required to be under their supervision for the entire day in the stable and members areas only.

Regarding the wristbanding, the new condition reads as follows:
"The NJC will require all parents and responsible adults of minors (as defined under Section 4 of the Liquor Act 2007) to wear a yellow wristband endorsed with the letter 'G' and the accompanying minor will wear a yellow wristband with the letter 'M' endorsed on that wristband. Any minor found on the racecourse without a wristband and/or not in the company of a parent or responsible adult will be escorted from the racecourse"

Minors as defined under Section 4 is basically anyone who looks 14 - 17yrs old. Obvious Minors will not be wristband.
